MI Creative Potential is a statewide collective impact initiative to advance equitable access to quality arts education for all of Michigan's students. The effort uses data collection, strategic partnerships, statewide networking and collaboration, K-12 instruction and assessment resources, professional learning, and storytelling to foster innovation in arts education in K-12 schools, communities, and statewide. This work is led by the Michigan Assessment Consortium (MAC) in partnership with the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), the Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC), and the Michigan Education Association (MEA). The Michigan Arts Education Instruction and Assessment project (MAEIA) is embedded within MI Creative Potential.

artLook Michigan is the platform MI Creative Potential uses as a data dashboard and collaboration magnet for K-12 schools and community arts providers. Developed by Parliament Data, this tool helps MI Creative Potential bring a vibrant arts education ecosystem to life by connecting community arts providers and teaching artists with K-12 schools looking to supplement, not supplant, their ongoing, sequential arts education programming through partnerships.
